Which is a better route?

For four or five weeks of travel...

Rwanda -> Burundi -> Western Tanzania -> Zambia -> Zimbabwe -> home

or

Rwanda -> Burundi -> Western Tanzania -> Malawi -> Mozambique -> home

Basically, are Zambia/Zimbabwe or Malawi/Mozambique more interesting? What are some of the cheapest airports to fly out of in the area?
