What was your favorite experience in Iran?

Jump to last reply

I'm a 40-year old American planning a 3-week trip to Iran in late March/April with another female friend. We're working with a local agency to arrange the itinerary and are going to see the major cities/sights (Tehran, Shiraz, Isfahan, Yazd, Kashah, Qom). We've also built in lots of free time and will generally spend mornings with the guide, leaving us the afternoons/evenings free.

I'd love to hear from those of you that have been to Iran recently. What were your favorite experiences, especially those that aren't in the guidebooks? What should we not miss?

Thanks!

- Jennifer
