What to do in Botswana?
My parents and I decided to go to Kruger National Park, and want to go to Botswana on the way to Zambia for Victoria falls. What do you reccomend to see or do in Botswana? Thanks!

Based on your previous comment of 2 weeks travel time, and your plans for Vic Falls, I'd suggest the very conveniently located Chobe in Botswana.
As I recall it's about 2 hours drive. Chobe has known for elephants, as well as predators. The Chobe River cruise, especially in the afternoon, is one of the best wildlife water activities in Africa. It is possible to visit on a day trip, but I'd spend a night or two if possible.

Going to the private reserves around Kruger, too? I highly recommend them. Lots of options for camps, in all sorts of price points. The private reserves are an entirely different experience from the NP.
I agree with atravelynn on Botswana.
You're squeezing a lot into 2 weeks. Lots of (expensive) flights and probable layovers in JNB. But we tried to do a lot on our first safari, too! I understand wanting to do it all. No worries - you'll be back.

Chobe Game Lodge awesome there
but you are doing a lot of cramming
distances are vast.
Pare back for better experience or you guys
will mostly be touring the inside of planes/other vehicles
and spending a tonne more than you need to.
Careful research yields better experience.

You're trying to do too much. Sorry, but you can't fill a 5/lb bag with 10/lbs of stuff.
Chobe in Botswana is the closest park you can get to from Victoria Falls, about 1/hr to the border than another 1/hr to the park, which deserves at minimum 2/nts (even that is cutting it short). Known for large elephant herds, but know you will see plenty of these in Kruger.
Besides, if visiting Botswana from Zimbabwe (and believe also if from Zambia), you'll require a multi-entry Visa, another thing to add to your costs.
While we included CPT, Kruger (private reserves), VFA and Chobe in our visit, we flew everywhere. If we had to drive, there's no way we could have covered all.
Again, no need to over do it!
