Has anyone had any entry problems into the US and Israel after having holidayed in Dubai, UAE ? I have a concerned friend who wants to visit us in Dubai from Australia for a week but makes frequent trips to the US and Israel and does not want any hassles when entering these 2 countries. Any way she can enter without getting her passport stamped ?

First of all, as a non-US citizen who travels to the USA all the time......i must state that the immigration officer has all your info on the computer screen in front of him especially thesedays with the iris scans and fingerprinting on arrival. You really hv nothing to worry about as long as your history is clean. I have my passports stamped from all my travels all over the world and have only been questioned about my trip to the USA (purpose and duration)

I really dont see any problem/concern. If you do fly into a very busy airport like JFK or O'hare.....the immigration officers are more experienced with dealing with frequent fliers and cultures. Being Indian, i hate flying into smaller airports like Philly, Orlando etc etc., where i have experienced obvious racial profiling. However, since they have introduced the finger scanning/iris scanning, i have had no issues whatsoever, as i believe that it helps the whole system.

There is no problem for visitors to Israel that has a Dubai stamp - or the stamps of any other country for that matter.

True anyone that has been to Libya, Syria, Iran or Lebanon may face some more searching questions when entering Israel, but that is all.

You wont have any problems entering the USA with a stamp from the UAE. I live in Dubai too and return home to the USA every summer and have never been questioned about the UAE.

No problem entering the US or Israel with a UAE stamp.

Remember, UAE and Israel are partners in good standing with the US. Does Dubai World Ports deal ring a bell?

That won't be a problem.

I am enountering the reverse problem. I have an Israeli stamp in my passport, and I'll need to get a new passport before my trip to the Arabian peninsula in November (its not a bar to entry to UAE but it will prevent me from entering Oman).

Michael -

So what's new?
Nothing, when it comes to having an Israeli stamp and needing to enter many Moslem countries; most on the Arabian pen.
