If you go to facebook.com/friendagorilla you can actually have a gorilla as a facebook friend! It's being used to raise funds for gorilla conservation.
It took me a while to wade thru all the stuff but if I'm reading it correctly, it only costs $1.00???for each gorilla "friend."
I hope someone else takes a look at this before I start adding gorilla friends and spending $$. If it's only $1 per friend I wanna have lots of gorilla friends!
If anyone else takes a look at this please let me know if I read this correctly.
Thanks!

Lillipets, I'm interpreting it the same way you are, $1 per friend. Maybe just friend one or two and see how it goes? See what kind of friends the Ugandan gorillas are?
Here's the non-facebook link in case anyone's interested.
