Travelling to Kenya with RA

Jump to last reply

Have read all of the research on yellow fever vaccine and RA patients, but would love to hear from any one with RA who has actually traveled to Kenya. I have very mild RA and on a low dosage of methotraxate. Some studies I've read indicate the dosage I am on is safe for the yf vaccine, and the general rule of thumb is no live vaccines for RA patients. If you have RA and have been to Kenya I would love to hear about your experience and how you protected yourself from the pesky mosquitos.

Thanks,
Mac
