Travel tips on how to acclimatize to climb Kilimanjaro Moshi

Acclimatization is tendency of become used and familiarizing with new weather or new activity. Climbing high Mountains like World 7 summits and Alps need acclimatization. Mount Kilimanjaro is one of 7 summit world peaks and highest peak in Africa. Before begin trekking Kilimanjaro, it is advised to acclimatize.

Basecamp town near to Mount Kilimanjaro is Moshi, Moshi is tourist town northern of Tanzania and located at slopes of Kilimanjaro. Base camp town offers supporting information and environment for acclimatization. Acclimatization helps travelers to avoid altitude sickness, Altitude sickness is mountain illness which people get when climbing high mountains. So mountain climbers have to acclimatize to prevent Mountain illness. Mountain illness prevent traveler from trekking Kilimanjaro to summit.

Hiking hills up to 2000m high and down is recommended, Materuni waterfall is sightseeing attraction near Moshi town, located up 2000m and hence hiking there is way to acclimatize and exercise. Spending one day in Moshi town, become used to local weather and making some exercises hiking hills on waterfall is recommended.
