Ok, Nkorho - http://www.nkorho.com/
.
And a little map of where they are in SSGR-
http://www.sabisands.co.za/Sabi_Sand_Game_Lodges-travel/sabi-sand-game-reserve-nkorho-bush-safari-lodge_map.html
My initial thought is that it looks a very small property and I wonder who they share traversing rights with?
Their web site offers little help about how to get to them. But it does say "Use Gowrie gate ONLY" No other gates permit entrance.
So does that mean the only way out/in to Nkorho is via Gowrie gate? How are you getting into Nkorho, driving in through Gowrie gate? If you have to drive to Ngala Tented I might guess this could take 4 hours. Thus likely causing you to miss the afternoon game drive (at Ngala) leaving you with a $1,200 dinner and bed.
Having said that, the usual way of getting between the two reserves, Sabi Sand and Timabavati, is via charter air. There are airstrips in each reserve. Last Sep we took charter on GenAir from Timbavati to Sabi Sand and cost was $325 two people and took about 20 minutes. The camps drop you off and pick you up. But Nkorho airstrip?????
So two answers. First your TA should know this or find out. That is their job. Second, call Nkorho and Ngala and ask them the question. Ngala has some useful info on their web site and they will work with you on this.

Good luck, let us know what you find/decide. Might be a learning opportunity for all

Tom, we will be in Nkorho in a couple of weeks. According to this map http://www.sabisand.co.za/ssw-map.html they share traversing rights with Chitwa Chitwa, Djuma, Elephant Plains and Arathusa...so quite a bit more extensive then it first appears. Can't help with the OP's question though!
Ahh, yes jczinn, that was the map I was looking for. I knew Nkorho had to share traversing.
, how are you getting to/from Nkorho? Driving or flying? That's a clue for about half of OP question. And thus begs more questions - where will you be before and after Nkorho? And, I don't remember your upcoming safari itinerary, what is it you lucky little she-devil you
!!!
Yes, ahh-so

I am not with Tom regarding missing the Ngala pm game drive.
Nkorho usually does (like the other lodges) am game drives which are back in camp for breakfast at around 09.00/09.30hrs.
With packed breakfast and 4hrs drive it should be possible to reach Ngala by 14.00hrs.
No prob I would say.
Happy travels - enjoy your safari!
