Tour guide for Tangiers - need question answered

I was wondering if anyone has used Aziz Benami for a personal tour of Tangiers with the ferry tickets included from Tarifa, Spain.

If so, do you remember if he asked you for your passport numbers in advance in order to book the ferry and confirm the reservation. He is asking for our names and passport #'s.

Before I give him our information I just wanted to see if anyone can verify this.
