I know, I know - there are no tigers in Africa, but for this precious darling.
As usual, all in order from arrival Kenya, onto Tanzania and then back to Kenya. Accommodations and game.
Trip report will have to wait, for the time being, but eventually.
Enjoy!

Enjoyed your pictures Sandi, a lot!
Cool! Loved looking at all the wonderful photos, Sandi!
Sandi,

I have gone through the tiger with the chubby-wubby kissable pinchable cheeks and have reached Elsa's Kopjes. Wonderful! Gotta hit the grocery store and will enjoy the rest later.
Just had to take a quick peek. Loved tigerboy - so cute.
Lots of great pics. and ellie back sides so far. LOL
I'll savor the rest (the pics. not the EA's) for lunch tomorrow.
Thanks
Okay, Sandi, those leopards shots--wow! Also loved the sleeping simba next to the road and tree with vultures, the topis and zebras. But where are my giraffes???
You, girlpolo and friend look like you're having a pretty good time. And Entim Camp looks like my kinda place.
Thank you for sharing these!
cybor - that little "boy" is a girl! I know, difficult to tell at that age... not a peep out of her, while we had our lunch.
Leely - A few giraffe in there, but most we came upon were at great distances. Entim was a pleasant surprise with great position in the Mara.
Everyone else - Glad you are enjoying.
Hi Sandi
One of the cutest little tiger cubs I have seen! Loved the Ground Hornbills and all those hippo. See them in South Africa, but not in those huge pods. Also loved the Eland - really a spetacular antelope.
Kind regards
Kaye
Sandi, always enthusiastically await your pictures and TR. The little tiger is of course adorable - and the real animals awesome.
Saruni - I remember when everyone was talking about it being built. It looks decadent! Were many people staying there? Can't wait for the report and game sightings.
Great way to start the week!
Loved your photos...
CC
Adorable little tiger cub!
Recognized the cottage at Elsa's. Nice rhino mom & calf, great shot of the grevy's with the safari vehicle and escarpment in the background, nice view from Saruni, that leopard on a termite mound, wow!
Thanks for these!
wonderful pictures!
of course the tiny tiger is adoreable!
hope you enjoyed the mediterraneo!
regrettably there are some pics without subtitle - so i am desperately waiting for your TR.

Beautiful pix of the leopard and elands! And that's one of the best tiger sightings I've ever seen.
Thanks for sharing those lovely pictures and of course Tiger also.!!

Sandi, I'm thinking about late May, early June 09, and wondering if maybe you are too & our paths may cross! Keep me posted...
Lynda
We were assigned cottage 2 at Elsa's Kopje too - the outdoor bath with a view, big enough for the both of us, was pure magic!
Those leopard photos are amazing!
LyndaS -
Probably will again focus on late-May/early-June. Not sure if Kenya or Tanzania first; which parks/reserves, for how long at each, accommodations, etc.
I seriously start thinking about my next visit sometime in Nov/Dec, but often don't have it finalized till Mar or Apr. Keep in touch and maybe we'll connect, finally somewhere!
Cool! Soon I should be able to post where & when, I'm just working on it, but as we are going with some friends who are first timer's, it will probably be the 'usual' circuit with the 'usual' mainstream lodging. Hopefully there will be at least an airstrip where our paths will cross!
Sandi, that was a cute tiger cub! I’m glad you saw so many topis and photographed one that was resting. The leopard looked quite spectacular on the termite mound and it wasn’t the kind of mound that a topi would appreciate anyway. The eland with a bird on his back has such a sweet cow like look in his eye. Thanks!
Sandi...Enjoyed your slideshow and that's exactly how I want to display mine, but having a hard time making it work with my Kodak EZ Share program..just not understanding it all. What I want to do is add a short comment to EACH of my shots, then pick out the best, put it in a seperate album and share them. I have about 523 shots but not everyone of them is perfect so want to weed some out. Trouble I had was my description went across the middle of my photo, not underneath it. If you, or anyone, can sort of walk me through this it may help me out. My e-mail is jvnash@wildblue.net or just post on Forum, maybe someone else out there's is having trouble. Thanks to anyone who wants to jump in and help....
Nyamera - No, I don't think that would be the kind of termite mound a Topi would like.
Nor would a Topi or other game want to compete with that leopard for any piece of ground at that time!
Ve - Wish I could help, but I still muddle thru after all these years. I'm sure someone else will pipe in!
Sandi,
It took me forever to check out the photos. What is the story behind the darling tiger cub?
The leopard is absolutely majestic. Nice ele and rhino action too.
Ve,
I wonder if the volume of photos (500+) is hard for the program to handle. It appears their is something going on that you are not in control of. You may want to weed before uploading to Kodak share.
lynn - that "tiger" is the 9/mo old daughter of one of my NBO reps. Had just the morning after my arrival to meet with mom and deliver all the goodies (cutest little girl clothing, and something for mom*) before heading to Wilson for flight to JRO for my few days in Tanzania before then returning to Kenya. So we planned to meet up on my last Sunday (after almost 3/weeks in Africa) for a "girl's brunch." We had much fun, catching up and enjoying this bundle of joy... such a happy baby!
*half my luggage contained gifts for the tiger; little boys of some of my other reps in Kenya; and now 6/yr old daughter of Tanzania rep. I never go empty handed. But, of course, I return home with about as much as I bring.
ve - an '05 album I did was 600+ pics and took sometime to complete. I'd agree with lynn to break up the pics, maybe by each area (park) you visited. Then provide links to each section. Don't rush it, take your time... you'll get the hang of it!
Thanks to Sandi & Atravelynn for your suggestions. Initially took 523 pics, deleted 39 & just chose 250 to share using Kodak album, no easy feat for me. It didn't take nearly as long to load up using only 250. Next thing is to figure out how to send a short e-mail and include my photos to share on this Forum........at this point folks, any of you can jump in with suggestions. Thanks again girls..
What a beautiful baby.
I loved the photo's. I go on my first safari next month and just looking at those photo's makes my heart race.
I cannot wait to see all those animals in their natural habitat. I love all of them, but the elephants are fantastic.
Great pics.
Sandi, I loved your pictures. I really appreciate your showing so many of each accomodation. That can be so helpful in deciding about a place. I like to have those details. Loved your beautiful animal pictures, too -- and was glad to see one of you!
