The End of Another Nice Place

Jump to last reply

For the past 3 years I have travelled to and stayed at a wonderful camp in Ruaha National Park, Tanzania. It was small friendly and reasonably cheap.
This year it was taken over by Asilia (a major player) , we were told nothing would be changed and as far as we know nothing has.
Everything is the same under the new owners yet the price has almost doubled, and you are forced to book through an agent who has absolutely no idea and is not needed, perhaps this is one of the reasons for the massive hike in prices, after all the agent is probably paid at least 35% of the charge.

Why oh why is everything in Africa being destroyed by greedy know nothing agents and money grabbing owners?
