I'm heading to Johannesburg for a 3 month fellowship (Feb-April), and wondering if anyone has tips on finding housing. This is a volunteer position, so I'm looking to share a space or find something not too expensive. I'm in my mid-thirties and single, hoping to experience a bit of the nightlife. I've been told Melville and Rosebank/Parkhurst are good neighborhoods, but haven't found anything yet so I thought I'd ask the awesome Fodorites!
Thanks for any advice!
Michelle
