Taste of Dubai

We are looking at going to taste of Dubai while we are there. Is it really crowded with long lines to get into some of the better eateries? Do they give you a decent portion, or is it mini bites of their dishes. Can you sit and enjoy them, or rushed along. With limited time in Dubai, we want to spend it wisely, but this seems like a unique take. Thanks in advance.

And, if you are looking for places for kids, I would say go to Chuck E. Cheese. Best family and kids destination in dubai, waiting for the opening of a new branch in mid December at oud metha road, Dubai.

Yes it is true if you do happen to pass by at oud metha road, and you had traveled with your family The Newly Opened branch of Chuck E. Cheese would be a great stop by for you. You can enjoy your favorite pizzas with all sorts of entertainment with your whole family. I believe you have heard how crazy famous they are right?

Some of the famous eateries do have queues but not for long. I would personally say, if you want a taste of the authentic cuisine you have to try the local restaurants.

However,if you have kids u can be a little concerned when it comes to hygiene. We did try street foods ( I have 2 kids - a 7 yr old and a 4 yr old), but for lunch or dinner we preferred affordable restaurants.

You can try Wagamama at Palm, quite within budget. We ordered a takeaway and also had fresh juices there. Really refreshing.
