The Sheraton Sharm is a nice enough hotel, but anyone planning to stay there should be aware that it is very far away from the main town and you are virtually trapped within the resort. The hotel does not allow outside taxis to pick guests up within the complex. Instead, you have to take a special hotel car at over twice the rate of a regular taxi.
