i was answered earlier that if you adopt an orphan that you are able to visit the orphanage in the later afternoon. my question is, "do we need to contact the orphanage to set this up?" or do we just show up at that time and give them my name to be admitted. do i need proof of sponsorship of one of the elephants? i am in kenya now working at a mission hospital and will only have one day in Nairobi on the way to my departing flight and was hoping to see my elephant on that day. thanks for replying.

You should let them know in advance so that your name will be on a list at the gate.
You have to advise them ahead of time, your name/s, name of your adoptee/s and date you plan to visit.
