We are a a family group of Grandpa, Mom, Dad and 10yo twin girls. We've decided to stay at SANParks for our explorations along the Garden Route between Port Elizabeth and Cape Town. I'm tasked with the job of proposing how long we stay at each park.
I'm wondering what experienced travellers think about:
3 nights / 2 full days and 2 half days at Addo (Main Camp)
2 nights / 1 full day and 2 half days at Garden Route (Wildnerness)
2 nights Table Mountain National Park
Or would we be better off adding a 3rd night to Garden Route? This would mean either taking a night away from Table Mountain National Park OR taking a night away from our city-stay ( Cape Town (or slightly north of it) for 5-6 nights in an apartment.)
We'll be there in early to mid May, if the weather makes a difference. Our kids enjoy horseback riding which is available at Addo, and we all like to hike, and Addo is a BIG park, so that's why I figured 3 nights there. (We can explore a bit of Port Elizabeth before we check in, if our train is reasonably on time.)
Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

FWIW we ended up with:
1 night by train between J'burg and Port Elizabeth
3 nights and 2 half days at Addo (Main Camp)
2 nights at Garden Route (Tsitsikamma - Storms River)
1 night at an ostrich farm near Witsand
7 nights at an apartment in Cape Town north of downtown (Blouberg IIRC)
