private cesna safari

Hi there

Because some of you asked me to post a message about my trip to Kenya, I will try to give you some more informations .

2 years ago, for my honeymoon, I was looking for something special ..and a safari sound good to us . So I began to search on the web ..;but I did'nt know anything about forums like this one .

After some searches , I found http://www.alexis-peltier.com/ and what I saw was so fabulous ..but I though, not for me because of the price !but I decided to send an email to ask about possibilities ..;and Alexis answered me that he would try to propose me an itinerary which would not be to expensive but very interesting and very nice !

So we decided to book a 5 days safari to Masai mara and Amboseli . And it was unbeliveable , marvellous to see the migration from the sky , you can see so far away ! Amboseli was also a great experience . Flying over the kilimanjaro was fabulous .I will never forget it !
The pilot Alexis taught us the rudiments of the piloting and it was really great experience for us .
He is a very nice guy and very professionnel, we spent only a few days with him, but he became a real friend .
On his website you can learn all about possibilities
http://www.safari-avion-kenya-tanzan...safarisgb.php3

Sorry , it is most in french ..;but Alexis do speak english quite good for a french guy .

His safaris are expensive, a lot more than a classic safari , even than a fly-in safari but they are worth the difference .
It's a unique experience I would advice to my friends .

If some of you needs more informations , don't hesitate ...

Speaking French is not a problem but it seems I have to create an account in order to view the images? Is there a way to view them as a guest visitor without an account?

Where did you stay in the Mara and Amboseli? Did you go to Samburu on the same trip or was that a different trip? Thanks for sharing.

Hi Kavey

Of course there is a possibility to see pictures without registration ..but you will have to read all the threads ( I think you have to be registrated if you want to choose the option to look only one member's post ! But it is worth , there are some professional photographers on this forum and pictures a lot better that mines !
But if you want to see mines, I can send some on your email.
If you can read french, this forum is really great .

Patty,

I stayed at Fig tree camp in the Mara and Sopa lodge in Amboseli. Sopa lodge is a little outside the park ..;but with a plane , that was not a problem at all . We took the plane to go to the park and to come back to the lodge .It was the occasion to fly a little more. I have make the takeoff myself of Amboselli. a great experience !

Chinook

I went to Samburu on the same trip but not with the cesna anymore ..;because of my limited budget . I went there with a local operator with a minibus ..;it is meaby therefore, that I didn't appreciate Samburu and Shaba so much. I have to admit our driver was not a very good one , especially after those from the Mara Fig tree

Wow, you flew into Amboseli from the lodge? What a treat! How did you arrange game drives then? I can certainly see how that experience colored your perception of Samburu

Hello from Dar!

Just wanted to say that we had the opportunity to fly with Alexis quite by accident a few days ago. He had a client staying at Petra's and offered to fly us back to Nairobi instead of driving. He's quite the funny character and I even got to pilot the aircraft for about 20 minutes!

Hi Tom

I know it is not easy in a foreign langage ! I have the same problem here

First you have to be registred as member ( free ) , then you have to click on my pseudo " Chinook " in one of my posts or in the "Member area" , then on the bottom of the page, you will find a link " voir les derniers messages de cette personne" if you click on it you will see all my posts ..;there are many but only some contains my pictures . But there are far to be as beautifull as some other pictures you will find on the forums .
Hope to welcome you on colorsofwildlife

Hi Chinook,
I wasn't sure if you'd see my post. Glad you're still around. I believe Alexis had just come back from South America. He was flying a client around Kenya. They were in Turkana, Baringo, a few other places, and heading to Shompole next. He's a great guy!
