This coming July our cruise will stop there for a day. I am trying to find sightseeing tours of this area-Port Said. All I can find are tours to Cairo. Two years ago, we visited the pyramids of Giza in Cairo. We do not want to return there on this trip. Any suggestions as to what to do in this area? Thank you for your help.

HI
I did a cruise this past summer that did the stop in Port Said. There is really nothing around so even though I had stopped in Cairo/Egypt before I did cruise tour again and found it very different this time around.
Happy Travels
Yeah, there is nothing there that will be worth seeing much. You can always get off the ship and walk around town I suppose if you don't want the 3 hour drive to Cairo and back. Or better yet, pick a cruise that stops in a better port. Port Said is far away, and not the easiest port to collect tourists from and still get to Cairo with time to do something different.
Thank you to both of you for the input.
