Paying Great Lakes

Just wanted to ask those who have travelled with Great Lakes how they sent their payment to Great Lakes. I wired my first payment installment to the bank details they provided, but that was over 2 weeks ago now. I have emailed them a few times asking if they have received it but have had no response from them. I am a little concerned as my bank said they take no responsibility for unsuccessful transfers. Does anyone know how long this money transfer should take? Or has anyone had an experience where Great Lakes did not receive their money?

Thanks,
Tara.

Thanks, Dave. I thought they must be having problems with their email or something as normally they get back to me very quickly. I will wait a while longer and not panic too much that my money has gone astray! Good to know you have successfully wired money to them.

Thanks,
Tara.

Tara - Are you trying both of their email addresses? One of theirs rarely worked for me but the other address usually worked.

Also it took my money several weeks to go through too after I wired it.

When is your trip?

Hi all,

Have now heard from Jaynefer and they have received my money. I didn't realise it would take so long to reach them. Very relieved it has got to them safely! I am going to Uganda on 28th July for just under 3 weeks. Can't wait!! At work at the moment so cannot remember my itinerary totally, but if you're interested I can post it later?

Thanks all for your help.
Tara.
