Hi! I am working w/ an agent who has suggested the Great Wilderness Journey through Botwswana and Vic Falls. I know we want to go to Botswana in May '13, but am open to other ideas.
Is this the best option? Its around the price we point we are looking for, but could we optimize our money with a more tailor-made safari? Try other countries?
I have searched and searched for trip reports from this particular small group safari but cannot find any. Any help for a safari-newbie?
Thanks in advance!

Thanks!
Dink - that's one of my dream trips. WS does a good job and the three areas of the Delta are a nice combo. I don't know about the water levels, but someone else might.
That's good to know, christabir! I've had no luck finding reviews and opinions on this trip...
The Migration Routes safari is similar and much less expensive (not sure why it's so much?!).

You can always add camps at beginning and end if you want to. The issue with the scheduled safaris is you may have 8 people per vehicle on the whole trip. On a private safari at most camps you likely won't have more than 6, which varies daily. If you don't enjoy the company of all of them, 10 days could be a very long time.
Hi DinkDunk
You might find this report helpful.

Hope this helps you.

Thank you, all!
I'm considering a more private option...just to get a different idea of whats available. I'm worried about that exact thing, Christabir, what if those other folks drive me nuts for 10 days!
DinkDunk
Christabir makes a good point so you may want to seriously think about what experience in Africa you want and how much you want to spend. Private Safaris can certainly be arranged but at a cost.
