Oberoi Mauritius - Upgrade?

I am hoping that someone may be able to answer this question: is it worth it to upgrade rooms at the Oberoi Mauritius? My fiance and I are going to South Africa and then spending five nights at the Oberoi in Mauritius as part of our Honeymoon. We are currently booked in the standard room that the hotel offers. Does anyone have an opinions about the rooms there? Should we put in for an upgrade?
