New air service to Maun on SAA (beginning in June)

Jump to last reply

(I've been away from this forum for a while, so sorry if this has been discussed earlier.)

South African Airways has announced that they will offer daily non-stop flights from Joburg to Maun, starting on June 15. The flights will be operated by SA Airlink.

This is a huge benefit for Botswana safari-goers. For one thing, there's now an alternative to Air Botswana. Also, the flight departure times (11.45am from JNB, 2.00pm from Maun) are convenient for several connecting flights to Europe and/or the U.S.
