Namibia in March?
I am thinking about a departure time for a Namibia trip next year. I was originally considering April or May but may have to consider March instead. I would appreciate hearing about any experiences of those who have been there in March re heat, rain...Thanks.

I thought someone else might have answered this by now, but I'll put in my 2 cents.
I haven't been to Namibia in March, but I have read on various websites that it can be very hot and/or rainy. I would imagine, though, that they may get passing rains rather than continuous rainy days.
Hopefully someone else with more personal experience can answer this question for you.

Gritty, I have read that too, about variable heat and sporadic rain. I will be going to Windhoek, Damaraland, Etosha, Sossusvlei, Swakopmund...places generally visited. Because of some unforeseen development, I may have to consider a March departure or wait until the following year. I thought some personal experiences might be helpful.

This will give you an idea of conditions at Sossusvlei. The wether station is about 40 miles south.

March will be ok but not as nice as May, June.
