Hi,
This pictures of Nakuru complete my gallery of our last year trip to Kenya.
We only passed one day ,but i wanted to see the photographic opportunity of this place for possible further visits.
The park is very nice and seen the flamingos is wonderful, but after a few trips to Africa i realized this was not the place i wanted to come back. Houses around that you can see from many parts of the park, big electric lines ,buses with lots of people....not what i expect to see in my trips.
Once said that , if i had this park 2 hours driving from my house i will probably would go there every week.

South Africa, Cape Town By Night And Day

Some lovely photos, I really liked the buffalo with the mud on his face and the 2nd last shot of the pelican with the 2 buffalo.
I agree with your impressions of Lake Nakuru. If I lived close to it I'd be there all the time, but probably won't include it in any future safaris.
Thanks for posting the lovely pictures.
I agree, if the park was only a 2 hour drive, you could go everyday !
I would go often too if the park were 2 hours away, even though my husband just told me we are averaging only about 300 miles a month on the car the last 6 months!
Lovely photos and the flamingos really are standout shots. I like how you combined the flamingos and other species.
Beautiful photos, thanks for sharing! I loved the black rhino eating, and the one with the tommy and flamingos in the background.
I actually expected much less from Lake Nakuru than I got, considering the comments I read on this site. We had some lovely wildlife sightings and views there, and we really enjoyed it as a 1-night stop on our way south. I'm not sure I would go again (unless, like you guys say, it was near home), but I'd definitely recommend it for a first-time tour of Kenya... the rhinos and flamingos were well worth the stop for us.
Great! The first flamingo picture and "mud treatment" are very special pictures to me - and of course the browsing rhinos.
Excellent photos, thank you
