Naboisho vs. Rekero vs. Entim Mara?

Jump to last reply

I am thinking of a VERY last minute trip (only 2-3 nights) to the Masai Mara area (or surrounding conservancy).

I'm wondering if anyone knows currently how much rain has already fallen this year? Is the grass already tall?

I'm not too picky about which of the above camps we stay at (though I've had my heart set on Rekero since 2009!) as long as I have fantastic cheetah sightings. How busy are things in the MM this time of year? Will we have 30 vehicles at one sighting like we did last August? We can't always get what we want but I want lots of cheetahs (cubs would be cool :)), sun (I know I probably WON'T get this!) and lots of action. I want my last safari to go out with a bang.
