With help of Fodorites and tripadvisor we recently did a 10 day trip to Morocco - just wanted to chill out and not too muh excursions and hence planned it acordingly .
Just witing a short summary to help other fodorites.............
We landed in Marakech and stayed for 2 nights in a riad - didnt like our riad very much even though paid about 80 GBP per night .
However shopping was good in Medina and my wife loved the bargainig bit - bought most of the things for less than 60% of quoted price.
Following this took the bus to Agadir ( supratours) very comfortable and A/C - much better than hirin a car .
Stayed at Sofitel Agadir - one of the best Hotels we have stayed. Amazingly they had leather canopy beds by the pool and beach + hammocks. Think about having a pizza lying on the bed by the pool wiyh musicians around- was Great . Extended our stay in Sofitel to 5 nights.
Had booked for 3 nights at Coralia Club which was outside the city and on checkin in found old rooms . The manager showed us 3 rooms all of which were same - in need of renovation. My wife refused to stay in the Hotel and hence lost money ( had booked thro Hotels.com).................
will write more after some coffee

Thanks for posting this. I'll check back for the rest. Good start.
Following this we booked at Kenzi Farah - supposedly a 5* but probably only 4* . We took a day trip to Imlil through our Hotel (Atlas Mountains) . Took mules up to Kasbah Toubkal which had amazing views - The trip via mules itself was an experience in its own through the tracherous path . Followin this we went to the Guides House for some mint Tea and see Berber House/ villages .
Most of the times we took the petit taxi in Morocoo and you have to bargain everytime - make sure you quote 50% of what they ask for .
Food- Both of us are begetarians and hence food was a big issue for us .
Found a nice Italian in Agadir- Little Italy - very good friendly place for Pizzas/ pastas
Did not try eating on food stalls in medina as did not look hygenic at all though did eat at all the terrace restaurants around
Cafe Aragana had the best views of the square. Cafe Chergoni had the best food of all .
Shopping - Amazing prices for leather slipers / bags . Wife went on a shopping spree buying her footwear & bags
The best part of our stay was the stay at Agadir and trip to Imlil
We booked most of the trip on our own .Hotels thro' freedomonline and Hotels.com and taxis locally
Next time the plan is to visit the Desert & stay for a few days in Kasbah da Toubakal in Imlil
Cheers
Just noticed some of the mis spellings in above . Apologies - seems like still in hangover
