Morocco 8 nights Dec trip ideas

Jump to last reply

Hi, We are arriving in Casablanca on Dec 18 and have 8 nights to look around Morocco. We hope to leave for Spain on Dec 26.

We were thinking of visiting
Casablanca 1 night (required ?)
Fes (2 nights)
Chefchaouen (3 nights)
Marrakech (2 nights)
Leave for Spain on Dec 26

Are these places the best places in Morocco we could do in the time frame ?
What is the order of the places you suggest ?
How should we travel to minimise travel times but see as much as we can ?
Are there good train connections to any of the places ? Or do we need to hire a driver and a car ?
Which city in Morocco should we leave from ? - for Seville or Granada or Madrid ?

We don't want to do desert tours - just soak up the culture and architecture, markets etc.
We are a family of 4 - 2 adults and 2 adult children.
Coming from Melbourne, Australia

Many Thanks for your ideas
