I'm thinking of visiting Mauritius in July / Auguust. I've heard the weather can be windy on the East side of the island at that time of year so am considering hotels on the West coast (Pirogue / Sugar Beach) or the North West (Maritim / Le Meridien). Does anyone know whether the weather varies between these two areas and how the hotels compare ?
Thanks
Phil
