Stayed at Marlin Lodge last June. Was a very good rustic, luxury beach resort. Service was good, food was good. Beach was very nice. Excellent fishing - lines in the water 15 minutes from lodge and 1st sailfish in the boat 10 minutes after that. Very good scuba and snorkeling. Marlin Lodge is on Benguerra Island which is a 20 min boat ride over. Dugong from what I remember is on the coast. At Marlin Lodge you will feel you are away from it all. Only about 20 chalets at Marlin. Marlin is more of a couples/honeymoon type of place. My vote would be Marlin Lodge
Bernd: Marlin Lodge being located on Benguerra Island is going to be much quicker to the best dive locations so I think you are going to be best off staying out on an island -- plus that island is true paradise!
