Hello, Everyone! After a great honeymoon in Zanzibar/Selous we fell in love with Africa! Next place we'd like to visit is Madagascar. So, we need advice about:
1. Which places must we see? We'd like to see some culture, but also have beach vacation with snorkelling, etc. Is that possible? Are there any good hotels anyone could recommend?
2. What time of year to go?
3. What do we need to know before we go (e.g. do we need to get any shots, medications, etc).
Thanks in advance!

I visited Madagascar last May, and the best place for info, in addition to the Lonely Planet, is the Cortez Travel website (they booked my trip for me).
Ask a doctor about shots -- it depends on what you have already received, and where you'll go in Mad. I wouldn't rely on medical advice from an anonymous person posting on a website.
