As for clothing, especially on my most recent Kenya trip in Sept, I noted people wore everything on the outings and in the lodge. Just avoid camouflage (militiary outlaws it) and blue (attracts tse tses, but the Lion World itineraries don't go to heavily tse tse infested areas.)
