Last minute deals to Sabi Sands

We're looking to spend a week in the Sabi Sands in February. The last time we went there (in August 2003) we got some excellent late deals, e.g. Londolozi at pretty well half the rack rate. I am not sure how busy Sabi Sands generally is in late February - has anyone obtained similar late deals at that time of year ?

Hello Phil,

August is considered low season in South Africa (in contrast to the rest of Africa) -- not sure how likely you are to find an equivalent deal outside the low season.

Mtbeds.co.za has some offers which might be of interest, though they are generally for less well-known places than Londoz.

Cheers,
Julian

Does anyone know of any other companies besides MTBeds that do last minute specials for lodges?

I don't know about Sabi Sabi though I have heard it's great, but I would recommend you choose Exeter Dulini over Exeter River if you can get it. The suites were unbelievable and the price should also be the same R1550.
