Kosher meal on United to TLV

My husband and I are both vegan. We also keep kosher. We ordered the kosher meal on our United flight to Tel Aviv, but we are concerned about what will be served. Has anyone had a kosher meal on United lately?
Also, would it be possible to order kosher-vegetarian? El-Al offers this.
Thanks

The kosher meals i saw on United/continental are most definitely not vegan friendly. Meat or chicken for dinner, eggs for breakfast.

All of EL Al's meals are kosher, so their vegan is kosher vegan. Most other airlines will make kosher meals available, and vegetarian, sometimes vegan -- but not kosher versions of all these special meals (no kosher gluten free, no kosher diabetic, no kosher low salt etc) There would be too many combinations required.

I suggest you bring lots of snacks with you. Most people I know who keep kosher and fly airlines other than El Al, always bring food anyway since the special meals occasionally go awry or run out.

Other than bringing your own, and depending on "your" kosher, some who are (their own interpretation) will go with a regular "cold" meal, such as green veggi salad or fruit plates.

The only kosher meals I've seen are either chicken, beef or fish... no vegan.

Thanks to both of you! I'll bring snacks and stick with the side dishes.
