Kichwa tembo
Hello
I am going to Kenya in August with my sisters family and we have been reccomended the Kichwa tembo camp by a relative.
Unfortunately we are having difficulties getting tents at Kichwa tembo and have been offered cottages instead. Does anyone have any knowledge of the cottages as i can't find any information about them anywhere.

Hello,
I'm not aware of any guest cottages at KT or KT Bateleur. I believe the cottages you have been offered may normally be used by pilots and guides, and therefore should be available at a lower cost than guest accommodation. I would, however, confirm this with CCAfrica, and if possible request pictures of the accommodation to see if you would be happy with it.
Cheers,
Julian

Hi
Having checked with CCAfrica they say there are only tents and 2 thatched rondavels so I assume it is these I am getting. I don't know how we will fit 2 families (7 people) into 2 rooms so I have asked our agent Africapoint for clarification.
I'll keep you posted.
