Kenya Airways Nairobi-Antananarivo schedule changes

Jump to last reply

Just a heads up in case anyone else is booked on KQ NBO-TNR-NBO flights. It appears there have been some reshuffling of schedules which affect the Tuesday departures (Thursday and Saturday departures remain the same, so far). Of course, I happened to book the Tuesday outbound/Tuesday return flights!

Original flight times were:

NBO-TNR 08:10-11:55
TNR-NBO 12:55-16:40

New flight times are:

NBO-TNR 20:00-23:45
TNR-NBO 01:00-4:45 (early Wed morning)

They've also added a Sunday evening NBO-TNR outbound and an early Monday morning TNR-NBO return (same times as above).

Again, this does not affect the Thursday and Saturday flights.

I just spent over 2 hours on the phone with Delta trying to get our tickets reissued. We'll now need to overnight in AMS on the return and get home 24 hours later than originally scheduled. I could've switched to Thursday or Saturday flights so that our return wouldn't be so drawn out, but that would've meant reworking the rest of our trip.

I also need to rework my Madagascar itinerary but that should be relatively easy (I hope) as I just need to switch our Tana overnight from the last night to the first night.

I predict even more schedule changes before we fly. Hopefully, availability will open up on the Air France TNR-CDG flight so we can avoid a 55 hour trip home (and I thought it was bad before this change)! :D
