jordan holiday
Hi, I have just decided to travel to jordan for 2 weeks in sept/oct/nov. Can you tell when weather is at not too hot/cold during this time. Also I believe Ramadan is during this time, excuse my ignorance but should this have any bearing on a holiday? Also, I have seen a couple of itineraries on the boards but none for two weeks; is 2 weeks too long? Regards, Colm

2 weeks is a lot of time in Jordan but you could fill it up between the historical sites and a visit to the Red Sea and the Dead Sea. I have just returned from Jordan and the weather in early December was lovely during the day but a bit chilly at night. Ramadan will affect your travel to Jordan so I would avoid it at that time.

Thanks for your reply p_m and for the great holiday journal, I had thought of going to Cairo and then on to Jordan but seemed too much trouble for the rewards. I think at a stretch there might be enough for two weeks, can you tell me what Amman was like? Regards, Colm
