How to bear the waiting

Planning (and overthinking) has been a wonderful way to pass the time before our safari. Unfortunately, I still have a week to go, and I've run out of stuff on my To Do list. Basically, all I have left is physically putting the clothes inside the duffel bag. Constantly checking this forum only takes up so much time--not counting work, of course

I'd love to hear other ways to still be thinking about the trip and get through the last few days before takeoff. - Elaine

Suggestion: pack that duffle a week in advance or so in case something doesn't fit or you need to make an adjustment. You'll have adequate time then.

Good point. That will allow me to do a weight-check also.

I hadn't thought about trolling YouTube for videos. Good one!

Better question is...how do you deal with the obsession to go back after you have fallen in love with the place!!!

Don - Read the user manual? You mean actually learn what all the whizbang settings on my camera are for instead of randomly choosing things?

Good idea. Plus, I bought a monopod to hopefully give me more steadiness with the superzoom. So it might be a good idea to make sure I know how far I can push that.

Thanks - Elaine
