We had a wonderful trip to Kenya in March of this year. There was no evidence of any problems, and we had a great time. Unless the situation changes between now and then, go, don't worry, and enjoy.

Even if the situation does change, your tour operator is unlikely to put you in any danger. Always make sure you follow instructions and don't put your self at any unnessesary risk... the same as if you were travelling anywhere in the world.
Today all seems calm in Kenya.
But then I've only just pulled back the curtains.

I would not think twice about doing a safari with a reputable operator like Micato. There are lots of other places in the world where I'd think twice or not consider going at all. Kenya is not one of them, unless there are drastic changes.
