How do you pronounce Ouarzazate?

I've heard it as both Whar-za-zot and Whar-za-zot-tay. But mostly the first.

A few years ago, Brad Pitt was shooting a movie there, can't remember which one - Babal or something like that? There was a piece written on the shooting and I will never forget the guys description of how to pronounce it, it was just too funny.

I don't think I can copy the paragraph here as I don't want to break any rules but basically you have to picture yourself bar hopping, after having had a few too many. You ask the bartender where you should go next, he gives you the name of a bar & as you didn't really catch that, you slur "Where's zat at?" And that's how you pronounce Ouarazazate.....
