Can anyone out there tell me if you can only take the balloon ride at 4 in the morning? Are there afternoon rides available or is early morning the only time they go up? I am planning my time in Aswan and I'm stuck here! I would like to use Hod Hod as they get such good reviews but I can't seem to find a web address for them-if anyone knows how to contact them that would be great too! Thanks All...I am so excited about this trip I have been planning it forever and now I think it's actually going to happen next year!

My bad everyone...I meant my time in Luxor-sorry for the confusion.
I know them and can contact them for you. They do ONLY fly in the morings. I think this time of year 4 a.m. is a bit earlier than the reality of when they will pick you up, but they ALL must fly in the morning when the air is cool. Hot Air Balloons don't fly well in hot weather. That fact is probably pretty self explanatory, if you think about it. LOL
What time of year will you be in Luxor? If you want me to tell you exactly what time they would probably pick you up, let me know the date and the hotel you will be in and they can give me a pretty accurate guess.
Going in the morning makes for an absolutely spectacular ride!
You will be able to see the sun rise over the Nile Valley and look down on the Valley of the Kings.
The sight of the various multi-colored balloons against the backdrop of the sunrise is truly a sight to behold.
Don't miss the opportunity if you have it.

ggrace - I'm checking with Hod Hod to be certain this addicted to travel outfit uses Hod Hod exclusively or do they use whoever is the cheapest today. Will advise when I get an answer. The website link did not provide any information to that end.
Just heard back from Hod Hod - addicted to travel is exclusive with Hod Hod, so you can be sure you will be put on Hod Hod if you use them. That is good information.
It was very hard to find information on Hod Hod. As I dug deeper, the addicted to travel sight popped up and I emailed them. They said they booked for Hod Hod. Once we booked our balloon flight, we received our confirmation as well as background and contact information from Hod Hod.
