hiking Table Mountain - which route?

I'm looking at the two most popular hiking routes up Table Mountain: Platteklip and Skeleton Gorge. Which is better for classic views of the Mountain and the surrounding areas? How do they compare in difficulty? Would doing Lion's Head be redundant in terms of the views or the experience compared to these two trails? If it helps, we're there during the second week of April. Thanks
