Help with Safari in mid range, Stellenbosch,

Jump to last reply

I was fortunate while working on this side of the world a few years ago to have a Safari at Saba Earth Lodge. We are now back and will be having some visitors April. We want to share this experience with them but would like to find a place that has the big five but with not the bigger price tag. We are thinking of driving the Garden Route, seeing Hermanus and hoping to be lucky enough to spot some whales. Do you have some favorites that you would share if we drive. A favorite lodge that gives you the experience, but not too crowded. Stellenbosch will be on list as well. I have for many years trust Fodorites to make me shine with guest, hoping you come through again with some ideas...Safe travels
