Help! Victoria Falls water level now and tour company
I will be leaving in 2 weeks and still have many questions. Please help.
Just wonder what is the water level in Victoria Falls now, as I want to see if the Livingstone Island - Devil's Pool will be open or not. Will go there in 2 weeks. Is Devil's Pool same as Devil's Armchair Pool?
Besides, has anyone use Bunda Adventures for their microlight/ helicopter flight? Its price is lower than other tour companies, so I want to make sure they are reliable.
Any suggestions for the microlight/ helicopter flight?
After crossing the Zam border to the Zim side, how long is the walk form the border to see the Zim side of the fall? Or I should take a taxi instead? How much is the admission, and what currency should I pay?

I can't tell you what the levels are now but I've been both in September and earlier in the year and the falls are relatively low in September although it's still worth visiting. In September you can usually walk (wade) to the top of the falls though which was fun (on the Zambia side).
The Zim side does have better views but I understand from others that it can be quite expensive to get across as you have to buy a visa and park entry(not sure if that's still the case).

I as at the Falls in early June. The water level then was quite high.
But I have no idea how they change.
If you are taking the microlight flight (which I did), I don't know if you need to see the falls from the Zim side. (we did not go to Zim). I would still choose to spend the time and money that it would have "cost to go to Zim in another activity.
We were there 2 nights. We did a canoe trip on the upper Zambezi thru Safpar, and a microlight flight. The rest of the time we walked about on the Zim side, both along the eastern shore, the eastern escarpment, down to the Boiling Pot, and then the trail towards the bridge.
While I cant' remember the exact name of the company that did the micro light flight it did start with the letter B. We were very happy with them.

It cost about US $20 for park entry when we were there. We flew into Vic Falls and didn't cross into Zambia so I don't know about the visa cost.
