Heading off to Tanzania

Asante to all the folks at Fodor's who have given me advice about my families trip to Africa. We live in a small suburb of San Francisco and have not met anyone who has traveled to Africa. So being able to sit at my computer every night for tips and ideas has been great. Wish us luck!! We are the large family with 5 children going, 1 husband, 2 moms, 1 grandma. I think our first adventure awaits us at the San Francisco airport, and then off to Tanzania!!!

Julie, have a wonderful trip. It is so exciting that your family is traveling together. I dream of the day my grandson (who might be your neighbor - he lives less than 15 minutes outside of SF) will be old enough to take to Africa!
