My husband and I are travelling to Victoria Island, Lagos, NIgeria to live for six months.
I would like to hear from anyone who have lived there within the last year or so. Any info would be
helpful
Thanks.
Has anyone lived in Lagos?

Trip Report - Honeymoon Safari in Tanzania - End of July/August 2012

Hi Sandy. I'm staying at Victoria Island at the moment. Just visiting. It's supposedly one of the best parts of Lagos. The 'usual' problems of electricity and water are barely noticeable because of generators and water tanks. It's a bit sickening to see how some of the local labour is treated. For them even mere existence is a mammoth task. Most people, however seem either oblivious, or have grown accustomed to it.
VI is a posh area, though. And it's easy to get accustomed to the luxury that Lagos offers.
Hope you both enjoy yourselves here!
oops! i didn't see the date before replying. i guess you can now tell me a lot more about lagos than i can tell you!!
