We are likely heading to Tunisia and Greece early next year and will be staying in Tunis for 3 or 4 nights. We would like to head out of the city on day trips to Carthage/Sidi Bou Said and perhaps Dougga. Information is sparse here on guides. Does anyone have a recommendation? It would be most appreciated.
Also, if anyone has advice on the best way to spend 3-4 nights, I would love to read it. Thanks!
Guide in Tunisia? Advice on where to go?

You can reach all of those independently w/o a guide. From Tunis, the light rail runs to Carthage and then to Sibi Bou Said. You can get to Dougga by taking a louage (shared taxi) to Tebersouk, and then taking a taxi. That's what I did -- I posted photos of my trip, including those places, on this branch, and if you are interested, should be easy to find.
Another great day trip from Tunis is to combine El Jem and Sousse, which can be reached by train and louages.
Thanks, I will look into it. You dont think a guide adds to the experience/understanding? Or makes the trips easier/more efficient, given our limited time?
