Going to the Sharjah forst time, please advise what to do?

Hallo fodorities!!!
I am planning ot travel to Sharjah UAE, and have no idea on what to do, and how to plan my trip. I have decided to stay in Sharjah, as I have read in many review that it is better to stay in Sharjah, I have decided to stay in Sharjah Grand Hotel.
I am planning to spend some 7 days there, with one or 2 days for shopping.
Any ideas, tips
