Best to exchange your currency once in-country for better rate than if at home (doubtful for MDH notes)...
BETTER YET though is use of ATMs which always seem to have the best rates, so bring your ATM card (good idea to have 2, just in case of machine eating or not accepting) And, always advise your home bank of travel, where, dates and inquire if they charge fees which are rather small in the scheme of an entire trip, but you don't want surprises.
Get much of what local currency you expect to need at start of trip especially if some of your stops along the way are off the beaten path. Big cities should be fine for locating ATMs.
Never use your credit card to withdraw from an ATM as this is seen as cash and incurs fees immediately.

There are ATM's right after you leave the customs area around the rental car desks. If you end up having too much money when you leave you can sell it back to some of the currency desks which I normally would not do but I didn't plan on getting back to Morocco anytime soon. Have fun-great country!
