FYI - Internet at Serenas

For those who might be interested, I received this information from my tour operator:

Wi-Fi Internet available at Serena Lodges

All Serena hotels and lodges in Kenya now have high speed connection to the internet via Wireless Fidelity (Wi- Fi). This revolutionary new service effectively gives guests freedom to choose when and where they want to access the internet using their laptops. Previously restricted to cyber corners at the lodges, the internet can now be accessed from virtually anywhere within the lodge premises including the rooms and public areas.

Wi-Fi internet is additionally being introduced at Serena lodges within Tanzania.

I thought this was good to know and figured I'd pass it along.

luv2globetrot,

Once you visit that corner of the Mara triangle, you won't be interested in accessing the internet or checking to see what is happening with the rest of the world - I can assure you that!

Have a great trip!

We stayed in a few Serena hotels in Tanzania - they all had reasonably fast WIFI. The cost was $5US for 15 minutes of use.
