I found Lion World Tours to be a bit cheaper. Check out my trip report at Http://Ofmyheart.net on the blog page archive April 2011. I am hoping to use LWT again in spring of 2012.
They're all good and reputable.
Depends on the itineraries: how many total days in-country, where visiting (parks/reserves), number of days at each, type of lodging/camps, driving or flying, price.
Many of these routings do try to get in too much in too few days and you spend more time 'in-transit' on some nasty roads, than game viewing.

You can have a pleasant journey with D.K.Grand Safari. I have just compleated with them in Oct'11. wonderful. You can see review of Lindya_s.

Inasmuch as redrobin2 is asking about specific Tour Operators who conduct 'group' tours, best not to toss independent tour outfitters, as DK Grand Safari, into the mix.
A colleague went with Lion World and like it. She was part of a couple, not solo.
Hmmmm, I opened the ripoffreports link and found 3 reports on Gate 1. One was a disgruntled person who was able to go on his trip afterall. Gate 1 could not accomodate he and his travel partner and cancelled their trip. He was able to book with another company in 4 hours. Stuff happens! Better to know before you go.
The other two were from 2008! For Pete's sake! I traveled with Gate 1 to Thailand and it was phenomenal. Things change, folks. Look outside the box if you want good travel you have to work for it.
